Welcome to the ScotSAC qualification conversion page. The purpose of this information is to allow you to assess what you would have to do to upgrade your existing qualification(s) to a ScotSAC diver/instructor grade. The obvious question is why bother? The following might help you make the move in our direction.
- ScotSAC training is specifically geared to Northern UK waters and incorporates rescue and first-aid training, even at Sport Diver level.
- You will advance your diving skills within the friendly, safe and sociable environment of a ScotSAC Branch.
- You only have to pay the Branch and ScotSAC membership fees (which includes insurance cover) the cost of training is free!
- The safety record of our Organisation is second to none.
Please note the following: You must fill out a UK Sport Diver self medical and join a ScotSAC branch before progressing your training.
See Branches page for more details and the address of your local club. In all of the following cases, the conversion training should progress in a left to right fashion. Great to have you with us

If your qualification is not on this crossover section please contact the BDO of the branch you intend to join for assistance.

When a member wishes to transfer diving qualifications to a new Training Schedule, the authorising signature of the current BDO, Regional Coach, NDO or Club Chairman will only be supplied upon production of previous Training Schedules, Branch or HQ training records.
