Overview
Club Examiners are experienced instructors and who have a wide range of instruction and assessment skills supporting the delivery of instructor assessments throughout ScotSAC. The course helps develop the further tools required to perform the role, and explores the role of Club Examiners. Candidates who meet the pre-requisites are eligible to attend this one day Examiner course.
Prerequisites
All divers must satisfy the following prerequisites;

Hold current membership of ScotSAC

Have been an active Regional Instructor for a minimum of 2 years

Hold a current medical certificate

Have attended a ScotSAC Examiner Course

Have assisted in running two National Dive Training Courses, supervised by a Club Examiner
Scope of the award
Club Examiners form part of the National Diving Council, carrying out training appropriate to their level of skill. Examiners may deliver instructor training courses, assess the skills of instructor candidates and assist the NDO with the development of training.
Before gaining the award, candidates must act as Probationer Examiners on at least three occasions; probationary experience with at least 2 different Club Examiners must be gained.
