BSI - Proposed Changes to Cylinder Testing Standards

ScotSAC has received the news that the British Standards Institution (BSI) are reviewing a proposal to introduce a new European Standard on cylinder testing which could see the current visual testing every 2 ½ years and hydrostatic testing every 5 years, changed to a visual test annually.

The ScotSAC Board have written to the BSI to voice it's concerns, and to ask them to consider a number of comments. The full letter that has been sent can be seen by clicking the link below.
