ASSESSMENT FOR THE AWARD

Having completed the course and fulfilled all the prerequisites, the candidate may apply to the Examinations Co-ordinator for assessment, first in lecturing skills, then in pool training and finally open water training. This application must be made within twelve months of attending the course. Applications outwith this period may only be made with the approval of the NDO.

Each assessment will be carried out by a Club Examiner, not from the Candidate's Branch, preferably in the presence of the Regional Coach (acting in an advisory capacity only).
