Regional Instructors may deliver training outside of their own Branch. The Regional Instructor award is intended to complement the training of ScotSAC members outside your own Branch. DownloadsPost-AwardUpon completion of the award, your Regional Coach may ask for your assistance with pool work, open water work or possibly theory work on a specific day or event. You will not always be able to help; your own branch may be in more need of your time, family commitments etc, but on some occasions when you are free you will be asked to lend a hand. You will meet new faces and hopefully enjoy the experience of helping others learn to dive, after all somebody did it for you! Pre-RequisitesAll divers must satisfy the following prerequisites;
Course DatesCourse dates are available in the events section. RI Course is normally held annually over a residential weekend. The cost of this course is normally covered by ScotSAC. |
