  • Friends of the Hunley (USA) - H.L. Hunley was the first submarine ever to sink an enemy ship in battle, shortly after she surfaced to signalled the success to confederate comrades on shore then vanished into the sea without a trace. The wreck of the Hunley was rediscovered on May 4th, 1995.
